  3. I am so sorry - there is no new released Version yet. It's because of
  4. my lack of time - but I'm working on it! The next version will be
  5. completely new written and has more than 25,000 lines of source code
  6. up to now, which are nearly 800,000 bytes. This is almost a whole
  7. disk full of source!
  8.  
  9. New freatures:
  10.   - OS 2.0 look with Style Guide support whenever useful.
  11.   - Completely fontsensitiv with a window that is sizeable in large
  12.     ranges.
  13.   - Supports different filesystems using a new concept.
  14.   - ARexx support
  15.   - Macros (Start Learing/Stop Learning/Play Macro/...)
  16.   - Support of locale.library
  17.   - Support of clipboard.device
  18.   - Support of all Amiga filesystems (DOS/0 to DOS/5 so far)
  19.   - RDSK support
  20.   - Registered versions are easy to update because I use a keyfile

  22. I don't know when the new version will be released, sorry. But
  23. it will come and then I'll spread using the usual ways.

  25. For now, you have to live with the old version, but to show you what
  26. will come in future, I have included a prerelease screensnapshot of
  27. the new version of DisKey!

  29. Sorry, this old version of DisKey has problems with some cdrom
  30. handlers. It will cause some enforcerhits at startup time when
  31. looking through the devices. The other code also has some hits,
  32. but they are not as worse as the hits that occur with some cdrom
  33. handlers. Please note that DisKey was written in 1990 and that
  34. I did not have a 68030 in 1990... :-)
